This was a commissioned piece for a dear friend whose late father was one of I favourite teachers at Inala High School in the early 1990s. His dear old mother’s love of Macleay Island and flora and fauna that habitat that beautiful part of the world is what I highlighted respectfully in this beautiful piece. Its natural beauty is art in itself and a place where I feel subsistence and an intimate relationship with these healing islands of the Moreton Bay area.
